 This is a simple photo of the tunnel of a subway line in Santiago, taken in early 2020, before they declared COVID-19 as a pandemic, I do not remember the exact day I took that photo, I consider that data irrelevant.


 The photo represents my metaphor regarding the lifestyle we currently lead, the darkness represents the current context, a drastic change in everyday life, I feel identified as we live in a loop that will not end until the pandemic ends: It is routine to get up, have virtual classes, eat, continue to have classes, read a book or play video games, think (do nothing), sleep, just go out to the supermarket or to the store to buy or walk a little solo bike, it seems difficult to break the routine.

 
 I feel that it is a long road to follow that seems to have no end, like the subway tracks, I hope we manage to continue developing as a society to "get out of this tunnel".

 If there is one thing we should be grateful for is: at least we have health and that’s why we can move forward, we have the possibility of ending this stage of life.

Last summer vacations

 My last summer vacation was the month of February 2020 (yes, although you think I should have had during this year it would be, but those summer months I was busy and the subjects did not let me free).  It was simple, I spent most of the time at home (I had to help in the remodeling of my house) and in my free time I rode my bike, riding from my house to Cerrillos Park.  At the end of the month, I made a short trip to visit my aunt who is in San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, a little less than two hours by bus from Santiago, I took the opportunity to visit my other relatives and tour the city a little, I did not do much, due to the context I had to appreciate the last moments before being in quarantine, nothing would be the same, I returned just the day before they announced the first case of covid19 nationally, I had to do it then because I had to give my last tests of the spring semester 2019 (we still did not finish it for obvious reasons). Autobiography

Hello, I'm Alex Pavez, Chemystry student of the Faculty Chemystry and Pharmacy Science of the Universidad de Chile.  I live since I was born in Santiago de Chile, since I was a child, I studied at the Salvador Dalí school, then, during high school I was at the Camilo Henriquez school, where I started to have science workshops and to be experimenting in the laboratory, one of the reasons why I chose chemistry to study in the university.   I live with both parents and I have a brother and sometimes I help him a little with his tasks, I like to talk about sciences, technology, also riding a bike and edit photos (As the wallpaper of this blog👍) and videos on the computer.   I hope to be able to develop scientific research to improve the quality of life. My favourite piece of technology?

 My favourite piece of technology is the computer.  It sounds obvious for these times, but it is my faithful company for everything, in it I capture all my creative power, the photo and video editions, the meetings by Zoom, talking with my friends, play videogames, the successes, the furstraciones, the being able to look for and find everything, to be able to capture the imagination, to do the works, to create structures 3d (using blender for example) and also to be an important company to replace the paper in the tests against time, as my house is small, I can not give myself the pleasure of having notebooks piled in my piece (as the following photo).  Do I recommend the computer? It is rather uncertain, there are different types, it is relative according to the activities of each person, you have its pros and cons, I recommend above all a desktop to replace the stove during winter , helps to organize the documents better, Space savings, increase in practicality, in the ...
