How can chemistry make the world a better place?

If, directly or indirectly, chemistry is present all around us, in food, atmosphere, industry, vehicles, pharmaceuticals, cleaning products, electronic components, in general, a good part of the products we use in everyday life have required going through a process to synthesize compounds, in order to define the use, quality and make them safer for humans, however, there is still a need for further research and development, reducing waste caused by chemical reactions, optimising, in other words, being more environmentally friendly by trying to reduce environmental impact, since if there is a poorly done chemical reaction, it can affect the whole environment.

Although people associate that "there are chemicals in that food," it can be misinterpreted, being that in reality it is by the components they use to produce food or products causing some effect on health, we know that chemistry is present everywhere, including nature, the problem is how chemistry is used in everyday life, impacting on the quality of life of people both for good and for bad, there is still much to be done, we have to break that stigma.

Without chemical research today’s society would not be as we know it today.
